Northwoods Community Church

⬤ 01. Challenge

Northwoods Community Church was facing a critical turning point for their kids ministry wing. The facility needed an update for both interior finishes as furnishings as well as a comparable wayfinding and thematic update to revitalize this space. The team sought to bring familiarity with surrounding strategically placed flora and fauna as well as bright colors to modernize the classrooms and corridors with an immersive experience.

⬤ 02. Solution

Enviropop's team of Interior and Environmental Graphics Designers, the space was elevated with an updated color palette that refreshed and brightened walls and floors

With the help of curious foxes and soaring birds to towering trees and woodland scenes, every element was designed to create an engaging space where kids can learn, explore, and grow.
The combination of modern interior elements and finishes helped brighten, modernize, and transform these spaces into immersive experiences for young visitors. Kids can enjoy the rising sun as they enter each Sunday morning or make friends with any of the woodland creatures who can be found hiding among the flora in the grand corridors.
⬤ 03. Results

While it’s always exciting to see the vision move from the screen to the walls and even more rewarding knowing these spaces will help create memorable experiences for the next generation, Enviropop was able to bring the vision to life both on time and in budget.

Testimonial

Visioneering helped us design the Kids Building to meet our ministry needs. The building communicates that we value families, making it easy for new families to check in and creating a welcoming and engaging environment for kids. The building's security and transparency blend allows parents to drop off their toddlers and preschoolers with ease. The Kids Building encourages our church to invite more families, resulting in roughly doubling our Sunday attendance. The building's layout enables us to monitor rooms without interfering with instruction, making it easier to lead and train volunteers. Additionally, the building provides a single point of entry, making it easy to monitor and ensuring the security of the entire building.
